Calendar mismatch caught before empty room
Harry McCracken is a tech editor. He tested an agent in ChatGPT, named Dots, for about a week. He gave it access to his Gmail, Google Calendar, and Dropbox. The agent compared a speaking event on his calendar with the confirmation email. It flagged a date mismatch on its own. Nobody had asked it to check. It also sorted his flooded inbox. It lifted out the messages it judged urgent.
How it wentThe mismatch was real. The organizers had moved the event and never told him. He says he would have shown up to an empty room. His report, from his article.

Each morning, check my calendar against my email. Flag any event where the date, time, or place in the confirmation email does not match the calendar entry. Then sort new mail into urgent, needs my reply, and can wait, using these rules: [paste rules]. Show me the flags and the urgent list first. Do not reply to, move, or delete anything.
